Application
In recent years, with the application of rare earth neodymium iron boron magnetic materials more and more widely, it is necessary to find one or several relatively cheap materials which do not cause performance degradation of magnetic materials to join in the production process and reduce the production cost. Therefore, the other elements in rare earth that are relatively over supplied and have similar performance with praseodymium and neodymium have become the first choice of experimental production. When holmium ferroalloy is added to the general NdFeB magnetic materials, the magnetic properties and product use will not fluctuate greatly, which can reduce the production cost. Holmium ferroalloy was produced by electrolytic oxidation of holmium with a consumable iron cathode in a molten electrolyte system.

Used to prepare high-performance rare earth permanent magnet materials such as NdFeB permanent magnet materials and rare earth super magnetostrictive materials.
