Properties: Strontium chloride hexahydrate is white or colorless hygroscopic needle-like crystal, bitter, Relative density 1.96. Melting point 115 °C . Sealed tightly, avoid moisture.

 

Physicochemical Properties:

Colorless crystal or white granule. Without odor. Effloresence in the dry air, deliquesence in moist air. 100ºC lose 5 crystal water, 150ºC lose all crystal water. Solution assumes neutrality. Relative density: 1.96. Melting point: 61ºC(heat rapidly).
